February 2006
As
CORF begins its 23rd year of floriculture and nursery education, we
invite you to partner with us in providing our industry with first rate
training. We hope that you will consider being a Sponsor in 2006.
Sponsorships are a necessary part of making CORF programs
successful. Sponsorships help CORF in many ways, but most
importantly, sponsorships help us reduce registration rates for
attendees. And CORF is a non-profit organization. Any profits in
current programs go right back into the next year’s program.
2005
was a great year for CORF with over 260 people educated in 13
courses. Programs such as ABC’s of Horticulture, Insect
Diagnostics, and the Ornamental Disease Symposium strengthen our
industry. Our Spanish-language seminars support Hispanic workers, crew
chiefs, and owners like no other educational programs.
In
addition to CORF Sponsorships, advertising in CORF News, our statewide
newsletter, is also a great way to support the organization.
We
hope we can count on your sponsorship in 2006. Please contact
Janice Wills at the CORF office (831-724-1130) with any questions or
comments regarding our programs.
Sincerely,
Steve Tjosvold
